For fifteen years, Rita managed their family owned distribution business in Miami where they were one of the largest tile and marble suppliers in the South Florida market. They also owned a plumbing distribution and insulation business. Rita managed the entire order management lifecycle importing of an average of 50 containers per month from over twenty international suppliers throughout Spain, Italy, Mexico and Venezuela for more than 500 builder and subcontractor customers. During her tenure at Santa Rosa, Rita developed processes to support their business that were later integrated into software system. In 2002 Rita began to work in the homebuilding industry directly – first for a local builder and most recently for WCI Communities. Rita was a process analyst where she used ethnographic research techniques to understand customers’ needs, wants and desires. This research led to the development of new products and business processes ranging from contract management and design selections to customer service. Presently as a Realtor Rita's goals is to find the perfect home for her clients. Rita earned a bachelor of arts in economics from Florida International University. She is fluent in Spanish and Italian and has served as a document translator and interpreter for Univision Television.
