Lauderdale View Market Areas I moved to Fort Lauderdale four years ago after growing up on Long Island and having lived in Manhattan for the prior 10 years. While in Manhattan I worked both in finance and real estate. I sensed that the real estate market in South Florida was due for a correction after its meteoric rise. I chose Fort Lauderdale as my base, and the area I would like to specialize in, and began to learn as much as I could about this sub market. When the market began to correct I began to identify properties, monitor them, and when they met my criteria I would purchase them. When I began looking for a home to purchase for myself I realized the bargains that were available on luxury single family homes. Because of Fort Lauderdale’s geography many of these spectacular homes are on the water and can accommodate large yachts. It’s proximity to Executive Airport, a private airport and Fort Lauderdale International airport make it an easy destination to get to. All of these things created the perfect storm for a luxury real estate bargains. I began telling friends, colleagues, and pretty much anybody who would listen to me about the tremendous value and bargains available in Fort Lauderdale. Many of these people listened and purchased properties and couldn’t be happier with their purchases. I decided rather than handing off these deals to other brokers I would do them myself. This way I can control the deal from start to finish ensuring a smooth, enjoyable transaction. I am a graduate of Boston University and Received a Masters degree in Real Estate investment and development from New York University.
